Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026

We do not collect any personally identifiable information from visitors to this site. The dead pixel test runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to our servers.

Overview

DeadPixelTest.pro ("we", "our", "the site") is a free online tool that helps you test your screen for dead or stuck pixels. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, what we do with it, and what we do not do.

Short version: We do not collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information. You can use this site completely anonymously.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store any of the following:

  • Your name, email address, or any contact details
  • Account credentials — there are no accounts on this site
  • Payment or billing information
  • Your IP address in any identifiable form
  • Photos, screenshots, or any files from your device
  • The results of your pixel test (everything runs locally in your browser)

The pixel test tool runs entirely in your browser. No screen data, test results, or device information is transmitted to our servers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — for example, which pages are most visited or how often the full-screen test mode is used. This data is anonymous and aggregated; it cannot be used to identify you as an individual.

GA4 collects information such as:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • General geographic region (country or city level, not precise location)
  • Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution
  • How you arrived at the site (search engine, direct link, etc.)

We have configured GA4 with IP anonymization enabled. Google Analytics data is processed under Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Google Analytics may set anonymous cookies to distinguish unique sessions. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

If you use an ad blocker or privacy-focused browser extension, it will typically block these analytics cookies and the site will continue to function normally.

Advertising

This site may display advertisements served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These ad networks may use cookies to serve ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing history across other sites. We do not control how these networks collect or use data.

Children's Privacy

This site is a general-purpose utility tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we collect no personal information from any user, there is no specific risk to minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
